Person of the Week: Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy, social pyromaniac?

Yes, McCarthy, Person of the Week, for going out of his way to blame White racism for gang violence amongand-between minority members of “minority communities“(!), and for willfully and irresponsibly seemingly wanting to foment racial  unrest against other groups  (e.g.,.) — simplistically for base political reasons…

Police Superintendent McCarthy, out of touch with reality  and an extremely good example of horrendous leadership by an irresponsible civil servant…

Stop striking the matches, Mr. Top Cop — your job is to put out the fires, not be a “social pyromaniac”!…

  1. All of you out there will see In 2012 how people think about all the mess that has been created when they vote. It is a mess and someone is going to be blamed

    • Yes… And, will it be the Democrats or the Republicans who come out looking the best?… The president can wield a lot of power via friendly news media P.R. coverage and thereby surely must be considered the favorite in the presidential sweepstakes 2012… But if matters do not improve much from the political and economic landscape during the elections of 2010, Obama will be in a real pickle jar…

  2. T. W. Albert writes to PanAm: ”I don’t understand the Chicagophobia in the political community. Yes there is corruption involved but most of the people complaining never have even visited.”…

T.W., thank you for posting; and a brief comment here: the post by this writer was not about corruption, but if it’s a given as you say that there is political corruption in Chicago, no one needs to visit the city to detest the prevailing shortcoming…

  3. The revolving door between Chicago and Washington seems truly detrimental for all involved, especially the poor voters. There could not be a more clear example of corruption on a mass scale than is exhibited both in the Chicago political scene and the product of it that occupies the White House. Stomach-turning.

  4. Chicago has crazy politicians and that man is crazy like he says. He shouldn’t be saying those things and shouldnt stir up hatred.
