California’s initial version of the “Dream Act” for illegal immigrant college students is signed into law.

The first installment of the “Dream Act”, California style, has been passed…   Tho’  this version apparently does not directly require that tax payer monies be spent on the financial aid for college students who are not citizens, it does permit private financial institutions to provide educational loans and assistance to illegal immigrants and forbids the same organizations from taking into consideration that the recipients of such college assistance are not citizens…

Some worry this law will make it more difficult for citizens to receive similar assistance from the financial institutions, and  that this is another step toward using public monies in scholarships for illegal immigrants, particularly during this time of economic difficulties…

  1. So apparently California state government is demanding that private institutions ignore violations of Federal law by not allowing any steps to be taken to determine the citizenship status of applicants for financial aid? Yet another example of the Progressive intent to subvert the rule of law until it has no practical meaning.

    • Those who control the state legislature and Governor Moon Bat (Patrick Sperry’s term) continue on an Alice in Wonderland course where their reality is not so…

  2. Gads…
First it was MediCal, the very first in the nation version of obamny care. Then, it was tuition free higher education for residents… And people wonder why the heck the state is broke..?

California, that shining star, the state of my birth. What a farce! But, the idiots that remain there re-elected Governor Moon Bat, and they will get their just desserts. After all, when he was Governor before he created jobs; Construction jobs building prisons, and jobs; keeping said prisons staffed. I will not even get into all the laws that they made felonies so that those prisons will be fully occupied!

Might as well hand over the sixth largest economy in the world to La Raza…
